General Information:
A species from Western Africa, growing from Equatorial Guinea through Congo, Gabon and Cameroon. With a light grey to yellow brown heartwood, intermixed with darker brown growth rings, this wood has long been popular with interior design and the dashboard industry, and there is no other wood that shares its appearance. Only select logs make veneer quality, of which, they can either be flat sliced or quartered, the latter of which is more popular. Zebrano takes a stain well and dyes well too.
