Found throughout much of Europe, Willow is also known as Aspen and Grissard.

Not all logs are veneer quality, so even though as a species it is available, it’s more available as lumber than veneer.  This is mainly due to the natural character marks found in the species.  Tending to embrace those more than some, we find the species interesting regardless.
