General Information:
Sometimes Moabi and Makore are sold interchangeably, although the color for Moabi tends to be lighter than that of Makore.
Moabi is frequently found in Eastern Gabon, but has a growing region from Nigeria to Zaire. This example shows a quarter sliced version, with absolutely no figure whatsoever. And generally speaking, Moabi is not known for developing figural types, unless a pommele figure.
We have seen Moabi Crotches on the market, which are stunning in our opinion.
We appreciate your visit and hope to hear from you soon!
