Sometimes Moabi and Makore are sold interchangeably.

Moabi is frequently found in Eastern Gabon, but has a growing region from Nigeria to Zaire.  It’s not a species that generally develops a figure type, but when it does, it tends to be more toward the pommele figure, as shown here.
