General Information:
The best growing region for our domestic Hard White Maple is the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, east through Southern Canada and upper New York State.
Logs are generally sliced on the half round in order to produce as much white (sapwood) as possible, and although not in large quantity – quartered veneers are generally clipped from the very backs of the flitches in order to eliminate the red heartwood.
Some logs will develop figure from a mild to a wild scale, even birdseye figure.
We appreciate your visit and hope to hear from you soon!
