General Information:
Growing Region is West Africa from East Nigeria through Gabon to Zaire. This species yields both Flat Sliced as well as Quartered veneer grain patterns, with some logs being Rotary sliced. Those logs which are Rotary sliced are typically called Kevazinga and the grain is quite pattern is quite swirly as shown here.
Also known as African Rosewood.
