General Information:
Found only on the Hawaiian Islands, this species offers a wide range of color within each log. Mixtures of reds, browns, dark veins, lighter sap rings – all add to the amazing visual it offers.
Some logs develop figure and some don’t. Yet the look of the veneer still has a kind of iridescence to it regardless. We have seen older examples of logs which were flat sliced, but generally what you find on the market today is quartered veneer.
We appreciate your visit and hope to hear from you soon!
