General Information:
Alaskan Yellow Cedar is one of the most beautiful and durable of the American “softwoods.” As the name would suggest, this species comes from the Pacific Northwest.
It has a very fine texture and the pale, soft yellow color silvers beautifully with exposure to sun.
Not as popular as some of the other soft woods from the region, Alaskan Yellow Cedar is an underutilized gem. It stains and dyes very well.
We appreciate your visit and hope to hear from you soon!
