General Information:

Called Cajun Cherry because of the growing region.  The buoys and marshlands of our Gulf Coast region.

This is actually Cypress.  We produce logs both Flat Sliced and Quarter Sliced.  The heartwood is a light amber color with the sapwood being a pale yellow.

This wood takes a stain very well and can even be dyed.
