General Information:
Talk about visually striking within veneer and this rare species has to come up. Also called White Ebony or Black Pearl, this species comes from a very small growing region, mainly around Laos. This species is quite rare and longer lengths are almost impossible to achieve. The veneer is almost always riddled with tiny worm holes, which depending on personal preference can either be filled in or left open during finishing. The rarity and cost of this wood make it suitable for only the most special pieces where budget is never mentioned.
We appreciate your visit and hope to hear from you soon!
